Ruto Names Over 30 Judges in Fresh High Court and ELC Appointments

President William Ruto has appointed 37 new judges to Kenya's High Court and Environment and Land Court to address a backlog of cases. Among the 24 judges appointed to the High Court are Robinson Ondieki Kebabe and Joyce Mkambe Gandani. Thirteen judges have also been appointed to the Environment and Land Court, including John Walter Wanyonyi and Jecinta Atieno Orwa. These appointments follow a competitive recruitment process conducted by the Judicial Service Commission.
