Ourossogui: A Baccalaureate Candidate Takes His Own Life, His Principal Breaks Silence

A baccalaureate candidate, Abdoulaye Ba (born 2005), committed suicide after learning of his exam failure in the town of Ourossogui. The high school principal, Mahmoudou Niang, expressed deep sadness and urged students not to view failure as fatal. The family awaits the death certificate to retrieve the body from the morgue for burial.
