Real Madrid sign Ibrahima Konate to multi-year deal from Liverpool

Real Madrid announced the signing of defender Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool on a four-year deal. Konate, 27, moved to Liverpool in 2021 from RB Leipzig, making 183 appearances and winning the Premier League in 2025 and the FA Cup in 2022. He joins a Real Madrid side that has already been strengthened by the arrival of coach Jose Mourinho and signings Marc Cucurella and Bernardo Silva. Real also extended Antonio Rudiger's contract until 2027.
