Ruto Claims Next African Billionaires Will Be Farmers

President William Ruto urged Africans to take farming seriously, stating that future billionaires will be farmers. At the Mashariki Cooperation Conference in Diani, he highlighted that Africa's population is projected to reach about 2.5 billion by 2050, presenting challenges for food security and youth employment. Ruto also noted that Africa holds two-thirds of the world's remaining arable land.
