Ruto Announces April 2027 Completion for Rironi-Mau Summit Road, Thika Expressway to Start in October

President William Ruto announced that the Rironi-Naivasha section of the Rironi-Mau Summit Expressway will be completed by August 2026, three months ahead of schedule. During the Thika High School 70th anniversary celebrations, he also revealed that design works for the Thika Road Expressway are in the final stages, with a launch expected in October. This announcement comes amid concerns raised about the pace of works on the road infrastructure project.
