Ruto Appoints Former Isiolo South MP Abdul Bahari Ali as Konza Technopolis Board Chair

President William Ruto appointed former Isiolo South MP Abdul Bahari Ali as Non-Executive Chairperson of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) Board for a three-year term effective June 5, 2026. Ali succeeds Prof. Raphael Munavu, who died on April 24, 2026, weeks after being reappointed. Ali represented Isiolo South in Parliament from 2003 to 2013 and served as Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Devolution. He also ran unsuccessfully for Isiolo County governor.
