Ruto Directs Fast-Tracking of Kenol-Karatina-Marua Dual Carriageway

President William Ruto has directed the fast-tracking of infrastructure projects in Nyeri County, including the Kenol-Karatina-Marua dual carriageway. This 84-kilometre project, co-financed by the Kenyan government and the African Development Bank, is 93% complete and aims to enhance economic opportunities and improve residents' livelihoods. In addition to the dual carriageway, the government plans to construct 8,000 affordable housing units and 20 modern markets to support small traders.
