UCESIF: Bio Tchané Advocates Institutional Cooperation in Bucharest

Benin's President of the Economic and Social Council, Abdoulaye Bio Tchané, participated from September 28 to 30, 2026, in Bucharest at the UCESIF General Assembly and the Francophone Social Dialogue Forum. He advocated for increased exchanges between economic and social institutions within the Francophone space, highlighting Benin's experience in social dialogue and cooperation with African and Francophone institutions. The event focused on peace as a driver of sustainable development, bringing together Romanian and Francophone leaders to discuss the role of economic councils in social dialogue and institutional cooperation.
