Zamfara boosts emergency response, launches firefighting trucks

The Zamfara State government distributed eight firefighting trucks to several local government areas to boost emergency response mechanisms. Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Lawal Barau Bungudu, represented by Permanent Secretary Engr. Amiru Musa Anka, officially received the vehicles from the Secretary to the State Government. The trucks will be distributed to designated local government areas to ensure timely response to fire outbreaks and other emergencies, particularly in underserved communities. The initiative aims to improve fire safety and the capacity of local authorities to protect lives and property.
