Immigration: nearly 6000 civil servants ordered to prove their presence in Cameroon or lose their salaries

Nearly 6000 civil servants who may have immigrated continue to receive their salaries. Finance Minister Louis Paul Motaze announced the suspension of automatic salary transfers for September and October 2026 until the agents prove their presence in Cameroon. They have until October 31, 2026, to come forward and provide the required documents, or they will be declared absent from their posts and removed from the state's payroll.
