Kenyan runner Sabastian Sawe set a new world record in the marathon, finishing the London race in 1 hour, 59 minutes, and 30 seconds while wearing Adidas' Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 shoes. This achievement represents a significant advancement for Adidas against Nike, which has long dominated the running shoe market. Sawe broke the previous record of 2:00:35 held by the late Kelvin Kiptum and highlighted the comfort and lightness of his new shoes.
