According to SCDP, average petroleum product losses fell from nearly 3,000 m³ between January and May 2025 to less than 1,500 m³ in the same period in 2026, a drop of at least 50%. The announcement was made on July 2, 2026 in Douala during the 'Losses and Measures' meeting, chaired by deputy director general Gabriel Eteki Ebokolo. SCDP did not disclose total volumes handled or loss rates, making it impossible to fully assess the operational efficiency improvement.
