S'Court judgment: Abia PDP backs BoT's take over of party

The Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has backed the decision of the Board of Trustees led by Senator Adolphus Wabara to fill the leadership gap following the Supreme Court judgment that voided the 2025 Ibadan Convention. Abia PDP Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ikpegbu Emeka-Yellow, stated that the purported expulsion of Wabara was baseless and overturned by the courts. He praised the ruling as a decisive blow against political instability within the party.
