Sebastian Sawe Wins London Marathon, Becomes First Man to Run Sub-2 Hours

Kenyan runner Sebastian Sawe set a new world record at the London Marathon, finishing the race in 1:59:30, breaking the previous record of 2:00:35 held by the late Kelvin Kiptum. Yofin Kejelcha, in second place, also clocked under two hours with a time of 1:59:41, becoming the first Ethiopian to achieve this feat. This marks the first time in history that two participants finished under two hours in an official marathon race.
