Security agencies foil bandits’ midnight raid on Kebbi district head, family

A joint security team foiled a kidnapping attempt at the residence of District Head of Badariya, Urotu Shehu, in Birnin Kebbi, Nigeria. The attack occurred early on July 15, 2026, and the suspects fled upon seeing security forces. The district head and his family were rescued, but three workers were injured and hospitalized. Surveillance operations have been intensified to track the fleeing suspects.
