Security guard arrested over alleged rape of teenager in Ogun

Police in Ogun State have arrested 32-year-old security guard Abraham Anelka for the alleged rape, criminal intimidation and attempted robbery of a 16-year-old girl in Abule-Ijoko. According to police spokesperson DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a locally made single-barrel gun, forced her to his residence, and unlawfully had carnal knowledge of her. Investigators recovered the firearm and the victim was taken to hospital for examination. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for comprehensive investigation.
