Senate, Oshiomhole at daggers’ drawn over Natasha’s 6 month’s suspension

The Nigerian Senate and Senator Adams Oshiomhole are at odds after Oshiomhole alleged that the names of at least three senators were improperly included in the committee report recommending the six-month suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. Oshiomhole cited Senator Ireti Kingibe, who reportedly denied signing the document. The Senate replied that no signature was forged in the suspension report. This controversy follows Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele's description of the suspension as one of the "lowest moments" of the 10th Senate.
