Senegal: The DAF Relaunches Identity Cards and Assures Data Security

The Direction of File Automation (DAF) announced the resumption of national identity card production in Senegal starting April 1, 2026, following a halt due to a technical incident in February. Enrollment operations are beginning in several pilot centers, with a gradual rollout planned across the country.
