Senegal: Ousmane Sonko suspends government travel amid economic pressure

Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko announced the suspension of foreign travel for government members due to rising oil prices, with the barrel reaching 115 dollars. This decision, made during the closing ceremony of National Youth Week, aims to reduce non-essential public spending. Sonko also canceled all his planned trips in April, including a meeting in Paris.
