Shettima launches Niger Delta Agricultural Development, Investment Fund

Vice President Kashim Shettima has launched the Niger Delta Agricultural Development and Investment Fund and inaugurated a Coordinating Council at a summit in Abuja. The initiative is part of President Bola Tinubu's agrarian programme under the Renewed Hope Agenda. Shettima emphasized that agriculture must return as the economic mainstay, recalling its role before oil dominance. Minister of Regional Development Abubakar Momoh urged investors to see the Niger Delta as a future agricultural powerhouse.
