Shun reliance on AI, embrace ethical practices - Lawmaker Rotimi to Journalists

The Spokesman of the House of Representatives, Akintunde Rotimi Jr, cautioned journalists against over-reliance on artificial intelligence (AI) during a lecture in Ado-Ekiti. He emphasized that AI should serve as a tool for journalists, not the other way around, and called for strengthened accountability mechanisms within the National Union of Journalists. NUJ President Alhassan Yahaya also praised the initiative of the lecture, which honors veteran journalist Biodun Akin Fasae.
