UN Regional Headquarters Near Dakar: Senegal Signs Agreement Marking the Completion of a Historic Project in Diamniadio

Senegal signed an agreement on June 12, 2026, for the United Nations House in Dakar (MONUD), marking the culmination of a historic project. President Bassirou Diomaye Faye personally resolved final obstacles, after the building's inauguration in 2023 by Macky Sall. The MONUD, located in Diamniadio on 13 hectares with 1,800 offices across seven floors, will host all UN entities for West and Central Africa.
