Sierra Leone becomes latest African country to receive deportees from US

Sierra Leone has received nine West African migrants deported from the United States as part of Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration. Foreign Minister Timothy Musa Kabba stated that the country would accept up to 300 people a year, provided they come from Ecowas member states. The migrants, five of whom are from Ghana, were escorted from Freetown International Airport, where some displayed signs of distress.
