Single People and Women Lead in Bribe Payments - EACC Gender & Corruption Survey 2025

The EACC's National Gender and Corruption Survey revealed that women and single individuals are more likely to pay bribes than men and married respondents. Among respondents, 19.8% of women paid bribes to tax officers, while 45% of singles offered bribes to civil registration officials. Police officers exhibited the highest bribery prevalence at 35.5%.
