Sino-Gabonese Cooperation: Wu Weihua in Libreville, 3 Major Issues on the Agenda

From April 5 to 7, 2026, Wu Weihua, Vice President of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, led a delegation to Libreville to strengthen Sino-Gabonese ties. He met with Transition President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and other Gabonese officials to discuss parliamentary cooperation, economic development, taxation, and energy transition. This visit follows a strategic agreement signed last month during the Gabonese National Assembly President's visit to Beijing.
