Social Inclusion: 55 Young People with Disabilities Educated on Human Rights

On May 13, 2026, Amnesty International Côte d’Ivoire held a closing ceremony for a human rights awareness session aimed at 55 young people with disabilities at the National Ivorian Institute for the Promotion of the Blind (INIPA) in Yopougon. Launched on April 22, 2026, this initiative aimed to enhance the inclusion of disabled individuals, particularly those with sensory impairments. Participants learned about human rights concepts while being encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and develop their hidden talents.
