Sodium: CAPPA, stakeholders back NAFDAC to curb hypertension

Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa (CAPPA) and other stakeholders are backing NAFDAC's efforts to reduce sodium consumption to combat hypertension in Nigeria. During a stakeholders' engagement, CAPPA's Executive Director, Akinbode Oluwafemi, expressed support for NAFDAC and emphasized the importance of sodium regulation. NAFDAC's Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, also stressed the urgent need for coordinated action to reduce sodium intake and improve public health.
