Ibadan summit: Accord denies backing joint ticket, demands name removal

The Accord Party stated that it did not participate in a political coalition meeting held in Ibadan, where 14 parties reportedly agreed to field a single presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. In a statement, National Publicity Secretary Joseph Omorogbe asserted that the party was unaware of the meeting and did not send a representative. Accord also demanded immediate correction of its inclusion in the list of participants.
