Under Fire from Trump, Pope Léon Begins Historic Visit to Algeria

Pope Léon XIV arrived in Algeria for a historic visit, the first by a pope to the country, at the start of an eleven-day tour in Africa. Despite criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump, the pope stated he was not afraid of his administration.
