Spain’s Guardemo still critical in ICU 2 weeks after cycling crash with car

Young Spanish cyclist Jaume Guardeno remains in critical condition at Tauli Hospital in Sabadell after a crash on March 31, when he collided with a vehicle after hitting a rock. The 23-year-old sustained serious head injuries, and his team, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, stated he is under constant monitoring and scheduled for further procedures in the coming days. Guardeno had finished 29th in the Volta a Catalunya just days before the accident.
