Rafael Jódar, ranked 89th in the world, claimed the singles title at the 40th edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II by defeating Argentina's Marco Trungelliti in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech. Jódar controlled the match, giving his opponent few chances. The tournament, held from March 30 to April 5, is the only ATP 250 event in Africa and is fully funded by the Moroccan monarchy.
