40 cultists renounce membership, embrace peace in C’River

Forty youths from the Abini Community in Biase Local Government Area renounced their membership in the Vikings, Klans, and Axemen cult groups during a sensitization program on August 26, 2026. The initiative, organized by the Cross River State Police Command in collaboration with the Abini Elites Association and LauraHope Foundation, aims to promote peace and law-abiding lives. Police Commissioner CP Ajo-Geoffrey Ordue emphasized the significance of this development in crime prevention and urged the youths to become agents of peace in their community.
