Striking UITH doctors call off action over assaulted female doctor - Daily Post Nigeria

Members of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) called off their five-day strike after intervention by stakeholders, following the assault of a female doctor by Emmanuel Olatunji, father of a two-year-old who died in the pediatric emergency department. The hospital condemned the assault and reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy towards violence against healthcare workers. Enhanced security measures have been implemented.
