Super Eagles: 'I'll comb Europe for new players' - Eric Chelle

Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, announced his plan to scout for players of Nigerian descent across Europe and monitor exceptional talents in the Nigeria Premier Football League in preparation for the 2026 Unity Cup. The tournament will take place in May at Charlton Athletic's stadium, with Nigeria set to face Zimbabwe in their opening match on May 26. Chelle also intends to reconsider previously called-up players who have not yet played or have had limited playing time.
