FIFA to review Infantino’s shelved World Cup investment plan

FIFA has confirmed that a review of the abandoned FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) investment proposal will be presented to the FIFA Council, following criticism over the lack of answers surrounding the controversial plan. Danish Football Association president Jesper Moller raised concerns at a Legal Committee meeting. Although the proposal was withdrawn after significant opposition, Infantino retains sufficient backing to consider a fourth term in the FIFA presidential election scheduled for March 2027.
