Taiwan’s gender row boxer Lin takes bronze medal at Asian championships

Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting won a bronze medal in the 60kg category at the Asian Boxing Championships. This is her first competition since the gender-eligibility controversy that overshadowed her Olympic victory at the Paris 2024 Games. Lin lost in the semifinals to North Korea's Won Un Gyong. Her coach, Tseng Tzu-chiang, stated that this competition was an opportunity to observe and learn against new opponents.
