Taxawu Sénégal: Khalifa Sall loses ground to the Diomaye Président coalition

Babacar Diop, a key figure of Taxawu Sénégal and the Et Dolel Khalifa (ADK) movement, left Khalifa Sall's party to launch his own formation, Allure, and join the Diomaye Président coalition. He justified his departure by the superior interest of the nation and the need to support ongoing reforms. This defection follows those of Barthélémy Dias and Babacar Mbengue, further weakening Taxawu Sénégal. Diop intends to focus on employment, purchasing power, and economic development issues championed by the presidential coalition.
