Kane double fires England past Croatia in World Cup thriller

Harry Kane scored twice in the first half, including a retaken penalty, as England defeated Croatia 4-2 in Texas to launch their 2026 World Cup campaign. Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford also scored for Thomas Tuchel's side. Martin Baturina and Petar Musa had equalized for Croatia. French referee Clement Turpin ordered the penalty retake after an initial save by Dominik Livakovic.
