Team Nigeria wins more medals at senior athletic championships

Team Nigeria won a gold medal at the ongoing Senior Athletics Championships in Accra, Ghana, with the women's 4×100m relay finishing in 42.94 seconds. The Nigerian quartet of Rosemary Chigozie, Jennifer Obi Chukwuka, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Miracle Ezechukwu outpaced Liberia and Ghana. In the men's 4×100m, Nigeria secured a silver medal with a time of 38.70 seconds, finishing behind Ivory Coast. Nnamdi Adeboye Onweaze qualified for the men's 110m hurdles final scheduled for Saturday.
