On June 5, 2026, SCDP General Director Véronique Manzoua épouse Moampea Mbio and Kribi Autonomous Port Director General Patrice Melom visited the site of the future hydrocarbon terminal in the Kribi industrial-port zone. The project, which received presidential approval for funding, includes the construction of a deep-water quay and an onshore oil depot. The first phase, lasting 30 months, aims to establish a 140,000 m³ storage terminal, with a total target of 230,000 m³.
