The President of the Republic presided over the closing ceremony of the military and civil parade in Thiès, stating that the event was a total success. He emphasized the importance of decentralizing parades outside of Dakar, highlighting the choice of Thiès. Gabon's President Bassirou Diomaye Faye also mentioned the friendly relations between Gabon and Senegal.
