The Regional Express Train (TER) in Thiès, the Senegalese government sets a date

The Minister of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport, Yankoba Diémé, announced the extension of the Regional Express Train (TER) to Thiès, with a planned commissioning in 2028. This project aims to transform the TER into a regional network, with extensions to several cities, including Kaolack. Additionally, the acceleration of phase 2 of the TER, connecting Diamniadio to Blaise Diagne International Airport, will be prioritized in light of upcoming international deadlines.
