A joint Yemeni-Qatari medical team performed cardiac catheterization and surgery on 110 children in Taiz, Yemen, between May 16 and 21, 2026. The free treatments targeted congenital heart defects such as atrial septal defect. Supported by Qatar Charity and the Qatar Red Crescent, the team included Qatari, Arab, French, and Yemeni doctors. Prof. Abudar al-Ganadi, head of the center, called the camp the largest medical achievement in the country.
