The African Football Confederation (CAF) is implicated in a corruption case involving payments of $27,000 to Jean-Guy Blaise Mayolas, president of the Congolese Football Federation. These transfers allegedly occurred before his indictment for money laundering and embezzlement, with no justification provided to the CAF. Mayolas, currently on the run, is subject to an international arrest warrant and is also targeted by FIFA's ethics committee.
