Thousands of displaced persons from Tchomia and Mbala live in precarious conditions in Ituri

Thousands of displaced persons from Tchomia and Mbala are living in precarious conditions in the Djugu territory of Ituri, lacking humanitarian assistance. During a visit by the WFP, families expressed their desire to either return home or be integrated into host communities with support for livelihoods. The WFP announced a change in approach due to reduced funding while promising to continue supporting these families to enhance their autonomy.
