Three dead in suspected hantavirus outbreak on Atlantic cruise ship

Three people have died aboard the MV Hondius cruise ship due to a suspected hantavirus outbreak. One case of hantavirus has been confirmed, with five more suspected cases under investigation. A 69-year-old British passenger is currently in intensive care in Johannesburg, while the first victim, a 70-year-old man, died on board, and his 69-year-old wife passed away after being evacuated to South Africa.
