Tinubu appoints new Special Adviser on Power

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Mr. Rilwan Lanre Babalola as Special Adviser on Power and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Power Sector Reset and Restoration. Babalola, a former Minister of Power, is tasked with restoring discipline and efficiency in the electricity sector while coordinating activities among government ministries and agencies. The task force aims to reduce technical and commercial losses and strengthen the financial viability of the sector.
