Tinubu borrows to build infrastructure across Nigeria - Umahi

Minister of Works David Umahi stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has committed a total of 34 trillion Naira to ongoing and inherited infrastructure projects. He explained that borrowing is necessary to build sustainable roads and bridges, highlighting projects like the dualization of roads from Calabar to Ndibe Beach costing about 454 billion Naira. Umahi also mentioned that section two of a 178-kilometer project between Benue and Abuja is underway, costing 685 billion Naira.
