Tinubu will deliver permanent UN Security Council seat for Nigeria — Jimoh Ibrahim

Nigeria's UN ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure a permanent UN Security Council seat for Nigeria. Tinubu has argued that it is unfair that no African country is a permanent member. Nigeria last served as a non-permanent member in 2014-2015. Ibrahim acknowledged the complexity of reforming the 80-year-old Council but was optimistic.
