Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, declared that President Bola Tinubu's extensive infrastructure projects in Abuja have neutralized political opposition. Speaking at the commissioning of the reconstructed Arab/Gbazango Road in Kubwa, he said tangible achievements are the strongest response to critics. The 31-day project commissioning programme from June 9 to July 17, 2026, is unprecedented in Nigeria's history, according to Wike. He added that improved road infrastructure will boost economic activities and livelihoods.
